This time Roland Schmidt aka "Faber" becomes more personal with his new album "Pictures". Pictures from his past were the leitmotif for his new album. Even if he doesn't always express his own interpretations and intentions directly, they can easily be guessed. He does not renounce his own harmony arcs and styles, which characterize his music since his first album "Spacefish": Faber never exaggerates and always gives his music the air it needs to breathe. In a skilful way he gives every song a completely different look which makes for a lot of variety when listening and is simply fun. Nevertheless his musical soul always shines through and tells you what you are listening to. Listen in!
